The Shift Doctors (Tracy Latz, M.D. and Marion Ross, Ph.D.) took a side trip to escape the intense mid day heat at the Mayan ruins of Palenque, Mexico and visited Agua Azul. Theses powerful, shimmering waterfalls, white water and deep, clear pools, rush through steaming jungle about 30miles from the town of Palenque. It is an amazing sight to behold this small segment of the long series of glittering cascades which course over miles of lush valleys in the Sierra Madre de Chiapas Mountains.
