Our creative webmaster has launched a website of her own http://photosalacarte.com/gallery devoted to her passion for sharing photographic images with her intuitive messages. When she asked if we would share her new website with others we were thrilled to assist her.

You may already know Dr. Arlene Taveroff as co-founder of Wisdom a la Carte, a widely read blog devoted to personal growth and spirituality. What may be new to you is that Arlene’s photography has been exhibited internationally and appears in highly regarded corporate art collections. Her newly launched collection of motivational posters, landscape photos and blank greeting cards is aimed at feeding the soul and connecting people to their inner wisdom.

Sharing Light

The word photography means “writing with light”. In fact, light plays an incredibly important part in each and every image I create. It’s not always there in the original scene; more often, it’s part of what I create digitally. But the “how” is not important. The effect and the feeling is. The light in each image holds a powerful energy, a healing power, and a presence that will flow into the space you’re in and transform it into a place where you can feel whole and soulfully connected to something greater than yourself.

The photograph on the left shows something I noticed one day out in the country: a wonderful little blade of grass, weathered and dry, peaking out from the dark, old weathered wood of a barn wall, soaking up the sunshine! Out of the dark and into the light! I loved what it represented! I loved how it stood up, stepped forward out of the dark shadow of the barn wall and then voila! the Universe did its part.
